Eligibility :
A Women candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate
(Std. XII) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board
of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in any stream with 45% marks (40% for candidates
belonging to Reserved category).
OR
Must have passed an examination of any other recognized Board or Body Recognized
as equivalent. Students who have not done mathematics at 12th Std. are needed to take a bridge
course in mathematics
OR
Must have passed any three year Government recognized Diploma programme in Second
Class.

- The BSc IT Programme aims :

To produce trained professionals in information technology for global competency.

To develop skilled manpower in the various areas of information technology like: Hardware, Networking, Database management, Software Development, Computer-Languages, Software engineering, Web based applications, etc.

To acquire the knowledge, skills, experience and values to become lifelong learners able to obtain employment in an information technology field or pursue higher studies.

To create a platform for women who would like to work independently for any modern developing systems.

Understand fundamental concepts of Information Technology, including operating systems, programming languages, data structures and algorithms.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of hardware and software components in computer systems.

Prepare students in various disciplines of technologies such as computer applications, computer hardware and networking, software engineering, web designing, JAVA, artificial intelligence, database concepts and Internet programming.
